OUR STORY
From sideline to shoreline — we’re The Offlanders.
Born in North Queensland, The Offlanders is a crew of former footy lads turned full-time fishing frothers. With rods in hand and a GoPro never far away, we’re chasing big fish, bigger laughs, and the best stories Australia’s coastline has to offer.

We’re not polished. We’re not influencers. We’re just a bunch of good blokes with dodgy rigs, reefie punishments, and a serious love for the outdoors. Whether we’re spearing coral trout, sinking tins on the tinny, or calling out who caught the smallest fish — it’s all real, raw, and straight from the heart of FNQ.
Our mission?
Make people laugh. Catch epic fish. And show the world that footy might’ve been the start — but this is where the real adventure begins.
MEET THE OFFLANDERS

Heilum Luki
Born and raised in North Queensland, Luki made his NRL debut for the Cowboys in 2021 and has grown into a solid presence on the edge. After a strong 2024 season, he was unfortunately ruled out of 2025 with an ACL injury. Off the field, Luki keeps things light—whether it’s fishing, footy chat, or just stirring the pot with the boys.

Tomas Chester
Townsville local Chester worked his way through the Cowboys system, debuting in 2022. Injuries have interrupted his run, with another ACL injury sidelining him for 2025. He’s a laid-back bloke who loves his footy, a good laugh, and making the most of down time with mates on The Offlanders.
